ColorMFA on Audi A3 8P

In principle, I do not want to make modifications, but to work on exactly the same principle as with 8L. My colleague at work (desk to desk sitting) is with ColorMFA on his A3 8L. I remember when we put it on, that until we grounded Trinput11 with it, the error was visualized. So I should and wish if it can be at 8P.

You are wrong.
An 8L error could only be displayed if the wire from TrInput11 was soldered to the cluster socket and washer sensor is not connected (or empty).
As I say before, all TrInput's on ColorMFA is grounded on main PCB. This is done on purpose. Since the elements are used that are already in the cluster. In the cluster circuit itself, all the elements are provided for pull-up this input to a plus. If your cluster does not work with the washer sensor (no elements on cluster), then you need to add them yourself.
ColorMFA without installation to cluster and ColorMFA installed to cluster may work different. Because ColorMFA uses a cluster elements (which is quite natural).

OK. But, the principle of the sensor is as follows:
- When there is wash fluid, a ground is maintained to the dashboard.
- When there is no washer fluid or the sensor is missing, then there is no signal to the panel (neither ground nor 12V) and the dashboard registers an error for low of wash fluid.
That's the way it should be done here, with me.

Again... Cluster have pull-up schematic if it support washer sensor. If no sensor present or no washer fluid, at the cluster pin for sensor is present positive signal (It's a little more complicated here, because a PWM-like signal is present on the pin). When there is no washer fluid or the sensor is missing, then there is no signal to the panel (neither ground nor 12V) and the dashboard registers an error for low of wash fluid.
ColorMFA use cluster schematic. Pull-up for this signal must present. On the cluster or need doing it by himself. Check voltage on pin 20 - blue socket on your cluster.
Not possible connect TrInput directly to washer sensor. It won't work that way.

Hey , I am finally doing the install but I have a problem
Wires are all installed according to the PDF and while on the table it is ok.
When I install it in the car it gives me this error after ~30 seconds .
Also the MFD does not do anything , it does not register click on UP/DOWN/OK/RESET .
With the normal car cluster it works.
I checked CAN cables are correct, power is correct.
Cluster is a 2010 facelift cluster.
I tried with the cluster coded to FIS and to NO FIS , same issue ...
Any suggestions what to check ?

Do not use _xxx_ versions.
Use public firmware from here: https://colormfa.ru/downloads

I don't see the error on the screen (on your photo). Sensor error, oil level error, oil pressure error, e.t.c.?
Is there an oil temperature/level sensor installed in the car?
Is the temperature and oil level displayed on the screen?
Does the error occur with the car running or immediately after the ignition is turned on?
What firmware version is installed?
Boost: If your car does not have the "CAN-bus" selection in Settings->Calibrate->Boost, then you need to connect an additional wire (see here: Подключение наддува / Boost connection ).

Error occur when engine is on. It can’t read oil temp or level. It reads everything but not the oil.
_a38p_xxx_v2.9.4b36 It s the firmware.
I didn’t take anu photo with the error on the display sadly. It looked like the one in this pic as i remember .
It’s a 2012 a3 8p and it has oil sensor

Update to the latest firmware.
Read the errors from cluster via external diag.tools (VCDS or similar). Clear all errors, off/on ignition, wait some time and read again. Any errors on the oil level sensor (G266) ?
Make a short video (in good quality, need to see the numerical values on the video) of the System->CAN Monitor screen with MotorCAN activity only (the data on the screen can be scrolled, you need to capture all the data on the video).

Thank you! Oil temp and lvl works after the update. Boost also works after changing the setting to canbus+
Last problem would be that it won’t read any module at diagnosis. It can’t connect. On abs it lights the leds but still doesn’t show anything
