Screen became reverse video after firmware update

I have ColorMFA on a 2001 B5 Audi S4.

After a firmware update, and the ColorMFA reboots, the LCD screen becomes reverse video (white background with dark letters). Turning off the ignition key and back on does not fix it. But if I leave the ignition off overnight, the next morning the screen comes back to normal. Is this a bug?

This happened when I updated from firmware b27 to b28, and then it happened again going from b28 to b29.

Yes. This only happened twice, both times immediately after a firmware update and the ColorMFA reboots.

Enable hidden area:
Go to menu->System->Screensave
Press and hold "down" button (~30sec) until the text "debug on" appears in the lower left corner.
Go to menu->System->Debug (is a hidden area)

Disable hidden area:
Go to menu->System->Screensave
Press and hold "down" button (~30sec) until the text "debug on" disappears in the lower left corner.

FYI. I just updated to the b31 firmware and this "bug" still exists.

About b32... Use it carefully. This firmware has a bug due to which the battery is discharged on some cars.

News: A few days ago I updated my ColorMFA firmware from b32 to b34 (I skipped b33). The issue reported in this topic seems to be fixed. After the firmware update and reboot, the screen now shows the correct colors instead of reverse video.

EDIT: I see that b35 and b36 are now available. I'll try b36 within the next few days.

I successfully updated to b36 (skipped b35). No problems upon reboot. Looks like this bug is fixed for sure.
