Hi Guys,

I am trying to use the instructions manual to install the LCD in the Golf 4 Immo 3 cluster but the images of the cluster in the tutorial are tottaly different from at least 4 clusters that I have.

This is a picture of the main board of the cluster:

The PDF that I found is this one:
http://www.colormfa.ru/download/MK4_B5_ ... _Guide.pdf

Anyone can help me with the connections?

Who is the dashboard manufacturer ? magneti marelli ? bosch ?
ColorMFA tested and installed only with VDO cluster in Golf4.

There is only a question about installing the main board. Additional boards (with stickers 16 and 14) interfere with its installation or do not interfere. Or so it seems in the photo and in fact there are no additional boards ?

All wires may be connected as on the manual. Connect it to green and blue socket. Except 2 wire connected to LED (washer level wire do not need connect for immo3). Need see LED marker (bevel angle) on manual and on your cluster and connect wire as it connected in manual.
Добавьте данные об автомобиле в подпись (профиль -> подпись). Чтоб не спрашивать постоянно... :)

There is any way to send me a picture of a similar board with the connections made?

Thanks

Is a different manufacturer... VDO is a VDO (Siemens), Bosch is a Bosch.
Different manufacturer, different PCB.
On the Manual the board is tottaly different from the one that I have.
Of course is different. Because in manual VDO cluster, your cluster is Bosch.

I'm not install to Bosch cluster and not have pictures. And also not tested for compatibility.
See pinout in manual:
For example (on top left corner):
+12V (Blue - pin 23) - connect this wire to blue socket, pin 23
GND (Blue - pin 24) - connect this wire to blue socket, pin 24
Ignition (Blue - pin 1) - connect this wire to blue socket, pin 1

All connections are also described.... Just connect wires as described in pinout.

I have another question. The LCD with the board that I purchased it says IMMO 2 in a sticker behind, but my cluster is Immo3. There is any problem to install it?

The board is the same for immo 2 and immo 3 or I need to change the firmware?

Thanks in advance

The board (main PCB) is the same. But firmware must be updated to immo3.

Do you sell the clusters with the board/lcd?

I have another question to you.

In the clusters with Immo 2 and Immo 3 the factory screen control traces need to be cutted?

Could you explain why the traces needs to be cutted in the immo 2 and immo 3 clusters?

1. This lines is "powered" (pull-up to +5V or +12V). Need remove "power" from this lines.
2. Prevent to use this button in original cluster software. Your remove original screen, but some original functions not removed with screen.
