New feature coming soon from autopilot!

'OK' area customization.

He successfully implemented my idea of having something else displayed there, instead of 'OK' message, when the car is OK and has no other alerts, and switching to showing alerts when there are any.

This feature has 2 ways of displaying only trip computer data, for now:
1: Single static information (like fuel range, or any other info available in trip computer).
2: Variable scrollable information (you can choose multiple parameters from trip computer and scroll through). This way, when you press 'Reset' once, instead of entering the 'Main menu', you will go into OK section at the bottom and scroll through your selected parameters to be displayed (see video). Press 'Reset' one more time and you will go into 'Main menu'. If you don't scroll or press 'Reset' for your 'menu timeout' seconds, it will go back to main screen. So, basically, if you'll have 'Variable' ticked in 'OK' area you will have to press 'Reset' twice for main menu, while pressing it once will take you to 'OK' section at the bottom to scroll through your selected parameteres.
According to him, this will come sometime in June. I and some others, are currently testing and report bugs, if any. Stay tuned!

I just tested this feature on todays drive and like it very much. One more useful information instead of OK. Also like posibility to show some trip2 values on main screen.

Autopilot please realize my idea to improve gearing assistant too. I mean additional optional value for upshift called "Redline" at which green up arrow changes color from green to red. I hope this means pretty easy job for you comparing with all this improvements in OK area...

What about the idea with cornering lights - any chances for adding specific period of time? Or maybe another idea is coming..?

Not sure about adding period of time for cornering lights... May be add check light sensor (original rain/light sensor at front glass), but currently not sure about this options.

Cornering activation via rain/light sensor would be super nice. I have them working now through a relay which only turns them on when I have low beam on, but it would be nice to eliminate this and have them working via light sensor.

Доброго, хотел узнать по поводу платы управления электрическим подогревателем (феном от дизеля) в бензинку, говорили пару плат есть, сколько будет сама плата или готовый вариант, спасибо!

По подогреву к сожалению ничего не осталось, ни пустых плат, ни готовых.

По схемам и софту:
- все что касается USB не нужно. (FT232 и USB разъем)

- я собирал догреватель по штатной схеме (ставил на А48Е). Т.е. сам нагреватель, колодка под рулем в коленках с установленными реле и предохранителями. В нагревателе 3 элемента, в оригинале 2 из них работают всегда параллельно. Я сделал все 3 раздельно. И изначально пытался сделать алгоритм хоть немного "умным", чтоб кол-во включенных секций зависело от скорости работы вентилятора климата, от наружной температуры, температуры ОЖ и т.п. Но по факту оказалось, что греет он не так чтобы вау... И в результате весь алгоритм свелся к поочередному включению всех секций сразу при следующих условиях: мотор запущен (обороты выше 600), температура на улице ниже 10 С, температура ОЖ ниже 80 С, климат включен. Поочередное включение нужно т.к. жрёт этот нагреватель достаточно много и при включении всех секций сразу чувствуется приличная просадка.

- у штатных реле включения секций ток удержания порядка 700мА, что довольно много. Под рукой были только реле для монтажа на плату Tianbo и ULN2803. Поэтому сделал на них (они не заменяют штатные реле, они их просто включают). По факту я думаю можно объединить по 2 выходы ULN2803 (по 500mA каждый) или поставить мосфеты вместо реле и ULN и не использовать реле на плате вообще (сделать габариты меньше и работу тише, без щелканий релюхами).

I don’t know ... A lot of supported gearboxes and not a very convenient choice (3 buttons only).

All previous firmwares displayed current consumption (at top or bottom area) only while driving. Values in l/100, mpg, e.t.c. At idle displayed --.-
Currently also display consumption at idle (l/h, g/h, e.t.c).

Maybe in the "Ok" place of screen, if the lights switched on?
Only for option, custumer can be decide.
