First thanks for the colormfa, i like ist very much.
I would like to get Fis Control working with Colormfa in Golf mk4.
I know that Colormfa didn't Support 3LB.
But there is a way to connect Fis Control with DDP 1.6 to the cluster.
I read that Colormfa supports DDP now but I think only DDP2.0, is that right?

Is there a way to make it support DDP1.6 too to get it working in mk4 golf?

ColorMFA support both DDP (1.6 andd 2.0).
But support only audio and navigation IDs. Other ID currently is not supported.

Fis Control used Telematik ID but the developer send me a firmware so it uses Navigation ID now.

In my menu i can't open navigation setup to activate it. I use Full Fis Version 32.
Can I only open the navigation setup if colormfa see some Navigation IDs on the CanBus? U know what I mean?

I tested now the Firmware of Colormfa with Navigation IDs.
I can see changes on the Canmonitor in Comfortcan now but Colormfa didn't show the Fis Control when it is active.
On one Pic u can see that I have no option "Navigation" in the Setup.

For VW audio/navi DDP1.6 ColorMFA use IDs: 2E8, 4D6, 4D9, 6B6, 6B9, 696, 699
CAN-Monitor have scrollable data (up/down keys).

All data (navi/phone) can only be displayed from the main screen. From the menu ColorMFA does not switch to Navi display.

I think the best solution for you is using Audi phone IDs/protocol for show info on ColorMFA. Fis-control supported this mode. Data from Audi phone showing on screen immediately without any additional settings.

In what cluster you installed ColorMFA ? Half FIS, Full FIS, w/o FIS ?

"Navigation" option is active if present Navi ring ID: 436

FullFIS - possible some problems.
In FullFIS clusters ColorMFA work only in "read CAN" mode with audio/navi/phone.
Cluster must do any exchange with navi/audio/phone. ColorMFA does not do this. Read only an existing exchange.
VW cluster does not support Audi protocols and IDs. My suggestion above (using Audi phone) may won't work.
If you want to try using Audi phone IDs/protocols, you must enable "Audi master" setting in the hidden menu.

Ask the developer of Fis control for use real "navigation" IDs. On your photo used phone IDs not navigation IDs. ColorMFA does not support VW phone. Only Navi and Audio. Maybe I'll add VW phone support to the firmware, but not now...

So one of the two have to be changed in the firmware with the CAN IDs and protocol.
Can you say if and when you be able to add VW Phone to the firmware?

But if Fis Control uses the right IDs, it will work with Colormfa even if Colormfa only read Can?

Yes, if you are using navigation IDs everything should work fine.

I don't know about VW phone support, because original VW phone devices for this cars is not used this function. And no one ever asked about the need for such support in ColorMFA.

Now I have a firmware where the Can IDs are correct in my opinion.
But the numbers are only green for one second and then grey.
Is that correct?

Check and enable (if disabled) navigation option in cluster coding.
Check and enable "Navigation" and "Show immediately" options in ColorMFA "Navigation" menu.

Current variant of DDP realization tested with some original Navi devices and with original and not original (presents on market) adapters for conversion BAP/DDP2 to DDP1.6. All works fine.
See PM for the corrected firmware for the test. Maybe it will help.
