Info-CAN must work correctly.

After installing on the car and updating the firmware, you will need to do a full reset of the settings (Debug - Reset All).

So.., based on these photos we can conclude that everything is fine, soldering the elements went well and ColorMFA is ready to be installed in cluster? :)

Quartz and MCP is work. TJA was tested only with real CAN data. I think all must be ok.

OK, sounds good! Thank You very much Autopilot.
Starting installing it in cluster then.

And two more minor questions :) :
- does it make sense to solder other cables in Trinput (7-16) and leaves them inside or outside cluster? For example for future mods/upgrades (if any exist),
- does work on Audi 8E (equipped with a module 8E0 907 279 F), cornering lights DIY module from this topic Парктроники с визуализацией (Post by autopilot #3880) ? I have such a DIY module from my old MK4.

Much thanks in advance!

This is not a necessary action.

I'm not sure. Because on 8E the state of the lamps is controlled by electronics.

What about reverse/R icon and mirror tilt/control?

I saw on Polish a4 forum, that users installed separate CAN corner lighting module (https://docs.digitalsystems.pl/file/DOK ... 01.001.pdf). In this manual schema looks that cables are connected directly into the fog light cables of light/electronic module (8E0 907 279 F). So I will try my old one DIY module (your idea module from the thread).

Hello again.

The installation is almost finished :) Today I soldered last cables and I connected cluster to 12v. Cluster working, ColorMFA boots, but I noticed that beeper from ColorMFA is not working (only beeper from cluster works). Firmware still is for VW/Skoda/Seat-immo3.
Is there any possibility to verify/check ColorMFA beeper?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT (15 Apr 2025, 9:35):
Just found THIS hint.
I'll check it out in the evening.

EDIT2 (15 Apr 2025, 16:50):
Beeper/buzzer works

Hello back again.

Project done! Just finished today. Looks like below :) Thank You very much @autopilot for all help and suggestions

Two minor things:
-question: lowering right mirror (mirror tilt) works via specially designed can impulse for lowering mirror (tilt)? or maybe You create/configured saved time slot for lowering time (if yes, how many second You set up)?

-diagnosis for channel 55 xenon range (my module: 4Z7 907 357) - not working. I receive "error: no response from controller" when try read faults or measuring blocks. VCDS cable - reads ok.

Thanks!

There is a request to add the calibration feature. I think this feature will appear in one of the updates.

It is necessary to connect two wires in the diagnostic connector. The wires come to contacts 7 and 15. Both wires are green with a colored stripe (there are no other green ones). The wires need to be connected to each other (without breaking them).
This must be done to be able to connect the ColorMFA to the headlight corrector unit (before 2007), the original PDC and old radios.

Awesome :good: waiting for it then.

So, i need connect two more cables... but from what to where? yyy....i'm confused. Is it (communication with module) not working via K-Line?

In your car 2 K-lines. Both is present in diagnostic socket. But ColorMFA connected only to 1 K-line.
You need to connect the wires of one K-line and the other K-line together. As I wrote above. Connect the two wires together in the diagnostic connector.

Oo...now i get it! Tomorrow i will check this. Thank You.
Are there any cons of that kind of solution?

Yesterday i shorted both wires in the diagnostic connector - works in ColorMFA like You suggested!
Thanks!
Best regards.
