Diagnostic -> read faults but cant clear it -> timeout

Hi,

I can read out my fault-codes but I cant clear them. I got a message timeout mode: 80. All other stuff works fine and I can clear the codes via obd-dongle or vcds no problem. I have done an Immo-off on the ecu , maybe this is the problem? But all other stuff works fine.

have you tried with engine running? I cannot erase faults with engine not running, but can if it is running.

Ive already try it with the engine on but no success. My Car is an S4 B5 Y2000 Facelift .

May be need adding more wait timeout after clear all faults.

after I checked my cluster and ecu-codings I recognised that my cluster was coded on Immo-3 (with immo off)- that was the Problem. After changing to the right cluster-coding everything works fine without errors (since 1500km)
I can use all features of ColorMFA without issues while driving
