Oil Level Sensor Warning
The installation instructions say to connect Trinput 1 to the ignition pad if no oil level sensor is installed. My car (VW MKIV Golf) does not have an oil level sensor but I may add one later. Before installing ColorMFA, my cluster did not complain about the missing oil level sensor (I think because it is coded for the USA which does not use flexible service intervals - see https://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?437087 ). Is it ok to connect Trinput 1 to the oil level warning resistor when installing ColorMFA?
If you plan to install an oil sensor in the future:
Connect TrInput1 to resistor and disable this warning in hidden menu. After install oil sensor as in original system, just enable warning in hidden menu.
If not: Connect TrInput1 to constant +12.
