ColorMFA

Hello

I have 1J0 959 799AH comfort module in my car and 1J0 920 825A half-fis immo2 cluster. It does not show any information about open doors. This is normal with this cluster.



I already put 1J5 920 846A full fis immo 3 cluster and it doesn't show too info about open doors. I read it is because my comfort don't work with immo 3 cluster.



My question is.
1. If I put 1J0 920 845A or 1J5 920 845A full immo2 cluster then i will se door open info on display without replacing comfort module ?


2.Does Color MFA have function to translate signal from 1j0 959 799ah comfort to immo3 cluster so I will see which doors are open.

Question about original system or about ColorMFA ?
In original system with "old" comfort and immo2, the doors is not possible to shown on original screen. Original cluster does not support it. Immo3 cluster also not support "old" comfort CAN-bus and also does not shown doors.
If question about ColorMFA.... ColorMFA support show doors status in cars with "old" comfort with immo2. Need add one twisted pair from comfort-CAN to ColorMFA.

Does not possible install ColorMFA to FullFIS cluster for immo2 cars. Is not supported. If in your car present "old" comfort, possible install ColorMFA only to HalfFIS or w.o.FIS clusters.

We're talking about original cluster.
So any Full Fis cluster with immo2 can't show which doors are open ?

In VW not show. Only driver door connected to cluster (for "light off reminder" buzzer while ignition is off).

So Color MFA works even without ignition ?

If present any activity on Comfort-CAN it works without ignition.

Yes, I can confirm. It works perfect without ignition. All 6 openings wake it up (= any activity on comfort CAN as Autopilot wrote) to show full screen picture.
When ignition is on after few seconds of full screen picture, there stays small green dynamic icon (which also shows exactly which door/hood/trunk is opened) in normal view message area. Icon is present until all openings are closed.

All about door/hood/trunk opening really works amazing well on immo 2 with ColorMFA (could not imagine better) and
all honor to Autopilot to realize this !

If I buy ColorMFA. But why I need to add wires from ccm to cluster ? I thought that wires from ccm to cluster already exists because when I open door then I see red light icon on the immo2 cluster.

See and teach schematic manual for your car.
ColorMFA used CAN-bus for doors status. In original system CAN-bus from CCM does not connected to cluster.
In original system present only one wire (driver door open or any door open).

Ok. Tell me one more thing. If I install ColorMFA to my car then does not make sense to change ccm and window motors to 1c0 ?

What are the benefits of installing 1c0 set to car expect door open control ?
