Light sensor and dimming is working. At night brightness message on CAN bus is reduced to 0x16 when dimmer set to minimum. Thanks again.

Hello autopilot, my friend creator of the MultiMap EDC15 would like to send the turbo pressure via CAN, on which ID does the ColorMFA get the signal on T5?
To return to the MultiMap would it be possible to add either text or a symbol on the colormfa to tell us which SoftCoding we are?
I am available in MP if needed.

How about a display offset calibration? I mounted my display more towards the bottom of the cluster (1-2mm) than recommended in the instructions (3mm) and the rounded edges of the cluster bezel still are a little too close to text at the very top of the display. It would be nice to be able to move everything on the screen down a few pixels to compensate for where the screen is mounted relative to the bezel.

It would be nice to be able to update the ColorMFA's firmware on the bench before the cluster is first mounted in the car. I have a bench setup for flashing clusters outside of the car but I don't have any wiring for the wiper stalk so I don't have a way to go to the flash menu. Is there any possible way to force the cluster to go into flash mode without the wiper stalk controls?

It is barely noticable and everything is visable.
But i know its there, drives me nuts

Hi autopilot, thanks for your response my friend and I have added the CAN frame on byte 5. I tested in golf but the pressure does not show. You blocked the CAN function on Golf's firmware? Can you make a change in the display factor for vehicles with turbo pressure greater than 2.54b? Just connect 3 additional wire to cluster for buttons. While button pressed contact connected to ground. Is easy.Is there any possible way to force the cluster to go into flash mode without the wiper stalk controls?
In original ECUs where present boost, total bytes in message with ID 588 always greater than 5. ColorMFA check it.You blocked the CAN function on Golf's firmware?
Also ColorMFA check 0x00 and 0xFF in byte 5.
If any condition is incorrect, ColorMFA treat this as "unsupported boost via CAN".
If all condition correct, in menu -> Settings -> Calibration -> Boost, presents selection "CAN-bus".
Firmware must be latest.

Hi autopilot, we changed the frame to 5 bytes but it still does not work. Byte 5 has a fixed value of 0A. How to make the ColorMFA accept the function via CAN?

Yes, but no value. 0.00 on colormfa but on can view 5 byte's value moves/changes...

What "yes" ? You test it on Idle ? You know what is "boost" and "how it works" ? What is the difference between absolute pressure and boost pressure ?Yes, but no value.

What factor ?
1 byte = possible range 0...255. Multiplier = 0.01. 255 * 0.01 = 2.55bar. Motor ECU set 0xFF (255) if failure/incorrect value present. Total max value = 2.54bar absolute pressure.
I can not change the data as I like. Everything is done as done in the original system.

I'm desassembling my ecu, I'll tell him that for 0xFF = 5100. Could you go from 0.01 to 0.02 on your colormfa ? I am at the moment to have the map by the ecu edc15. Modify ecu not a problem but you have to change your factor to make it work. Thank you

I would like to display more than 2550mbar in absolute. in my edc15 and edc16 i can completely modify the can. I can modify and add an id or modify the content... anything is possible. maybe you can display the pressure on 16 bits if the id 588 is on 8 bytes for example (we can use byte 6 and 7 for the pressure) or a factor of 0.02 on byte 4.... thank you for your understanding.
for my multimap i would like to display some text, it's possible to create 1 or 2 id to display text (like id 0x667 and 0x66B in audi can info) in 8 byte in ascii but on can powertrain?
